This desk was designed with the customer who was downsizing but still needed a working desk. Everything from the overall size of the desktop workspace to the design of the mail slots and even the knee opening were made to accommodate the customer’s preferences. The desk includes a file drawer, mail slots, cabinets above and even a secret compartment.
Antique frame restoration is also available. This frame was damaged over time and was missing the decorative edge on one side of the frame. Sontag Home Services was able to line up a detail carpenter who was able to replicate the pattern of the decorative edge and restore the frame. Also available is work with antique plaster frames to replace missing carvings so your beautiful antique can look like it once did.
